How do I book a transfer, tour or safari with NokNok?

Send the booking form, WhatsApp +255 652 654 274, or email info@noknokzanzibar.co.tz. Share your flight number or hotel and we confirm the vehicle or tour the same day whenever possible.

Are you based in Zanzibar?

Yes. NokNok is a locally owned company in Kisauni, Zanzibar, founded by Mudrik Omar after years of airport and tourism work, with Kassim Fakih as co-founder on operations.

Do you operate 24/7?

Airport transfers run around the clock. Tours and safari desks reply from early morning into the evening; overnight flight pickups are pre-assigned a driver.

Can you customise an itinerary?

Every outing is private. Tell us your pace, hotel and interests — spice, history, snorkeling, family-friendly days or a fly-in safari — and we build around that.

Transfers

Where do you meet guests at Zanzibar Airport?

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign after you clear immigration. We track flight boards so late landings still get a calm handover.

Are prices fixed from the airport?

Yes. The rates on this page are private minivan prices (up to 6 guests) from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport or Stone Town. Book go and return and take $10 off the total, $5 each way. Hotel-to-hotel quotes follow the inter-coast list.

What vehicles do you use?

A private minivan for up to 6 guests at the published rate. For 7 or more guests we use a minibus or bus at $10 USD per person. Vehicles are air-conditioned, with child seats on request.

Do you offer hotel-to-hotel transfers?

Yes. We move guests between hotels across Unguja — Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Paje, Jambiani and the east coast. Share both addresses and we confirm a road quote. We do not operate boat or ferry transfers.

Tours

What is included in a typical Zanzibar tour?

A professional guide, listed entrance fees, and the boat or park access named on the page. Hotel pickup is added according to where you stay.

Are tours suitable for children?

Most half-day walks and spice tours are family-friendly. Snorkeling and cave swimming depend on swimming comfort; we advise honestly before you book.

How long do tours last?

Half-day experiences run about four hours. Full-day combinations such as Stone Town, Prison Island and Nakupenda last seven to nine hours.

Do you offer private boats?

Yes. Safari Blue, Nakupenda and Prison Island can be run as private boat days so you are not folded into a large group.

Safaris

Can I do a safari as a day trip from Zanzibar?

Yes. Mikumi and Selous day trips use early flights from Zanzibar, a full game drive, and a same-day return to your hotel.

Which parks can I reach from the island?

Mikumi, Nyerere (Selous), Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, as day trips or 2–6 day circuits.

What should I pack for a fly-in safari?

Neutral light clothing, closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, binoculars and a warm layer for crater mornings. We share a list with your confirmation.

About

Who founded NokNok Zanzibar?

Mudrik Omar Othman founded the company after working at Zanzibar Airport. Kassim Idrissa Fakih is co-founder and looks after operations and guest planning.

Why book a local operator?

We live the roads, tides and flight delays. That shows in punctual pickups, honest timing and guides who can change a plan without losing the day.
